Fall

I love the season of Fall. It has been extremely warm and does not feel like fall but I think it is coming. Life has been very busy.
Randy is still working at Fleet-lite. Last week he received the Aaronic Priesthood. It has been interesting to watch the changes that Randy has made in his life. I am so proud of him.
Zach continues to be a great kid except that he does not like to go to work. He is taking a break from school for now but hopefully that won't last to long.
Justin is in 4th grade. He has a very strict teacher and is finally getting used to all the requirements that she has in class. He is playing football and loving it. It has been fun to watch Justin evolve from a young kid into a great young man.
Charly is in 1st grade and loving every minute of it. She has a boy/friend named Corman. It is funny to watch her face light up when she talks about him. She is my social butterfly and is unable to hold still for a minute.
I am still working at the wound clinic. I love being a nurse and interacting with patients. I grow so much from being part of what they are going through. I feel honored to help them overcome their wounds. I am still working on getting my bachelors degree in nursing. I should be done in March.
My family is amazing. It has been amazing to watch and experience all the changes that we have made as a family. I have amazing such amazing parents, mother-in-law, siblings, children, aunts/uncles, and cousins who have made such an impact on my life. Some of you will never know your examples have impacted my life. Thank you all for sharing your wonderful families and experiences with my family.

Summer Blessings

Life has been busy and fun over the last year. I have an amazing family and am so grateful for all the blessings that they give me.
I am still going to school. To say that I love it would be a huge lie however, I will be grateful when it is over. I have learned a new world of nursing can be had if I choose. I am still working at the Wound clinic and enjoy working there.
Our family has experienced many wonderful experiences in the last 2 months. Justin was baptized on July 26. Zachary encouraged us to go back to church and a few weeks after going back to church, Justin began the missionary lessons. We had wonderful sister missionaries; Sister Blackwelder and Sister Schwartz. They touched and changed our lives forever. A few weeks into the missionary lessons, Randy agreed to be baptized. I am amazed the changes that have occurred in Randy's life since making this decision. He quit smoking and was baptized on July 10. Elder Watts and Elder Calderwood were amazing and helped complete the lessons and performed the baptism and confirmation. I never believed that this day would come and I am amazed at Randy's faith and belief in the Church.
Zachary has had a very difficult past 6 months but appears to be doing better and is striving to make the changes in his life that he needs to. I am so proud of Zach and am excited to see what the future holds for him.
Justin has finished 3rd grade and is not at all excited for 4th grade. He just registered for football and is excited for the practices and games to begin. He is a funny kid and constantly keeps us laughing.
Charly has finished kindergarten and cannot wait for 1st grade. She is very active and is constantly on the go. She loves going to primary and learning about everything.
I have an amazing family and love the life that they give me. I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.

Family Blessings

The last year has certainly flown by. It has been a very busy year with family, friends, sports, and school.
Zach is currently working at Fleet-lite. He is completing several classes at the SLCC. He is anxiously awaiting the Poinsettia Bowl. Zach and his cousin Jake will be leaving for a road trip and cheering on the Utes. Go Utes!!!
Justin is playing junior jazz again. He finished football and has truly become a football fanatic. It was a fun fall watching him learn the game and working hard every night at practice. He is currently in the 3rd grade. He recently brought home a snake for Christmas break from school.
Charly is still very active and keeps all of us on our toes. She loves Kindergarten and is learning how to read. It is so amazing to watch her mind begin to understand new words. She never stops moving except when she is asleep. Watching her makes me very tired.
Randy is still working at Fleet-lite and we won't say anything more about that.
I have taken several classes at the University of Phoenix but am taking a break due to my mom's recent surgery. We are so grateful that mom is doing well and expect her to make a full recovery.
This year at this time, I am so grateful for my family. Although we fight at times and definitely do not always see eye to eye on most things, I am truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful family. My wish for everyone at this time, is for everyone to have a Merry Christmas and enjoy all the time that they can spend with their loved ones.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

Snow Day Boredom

The hyperbaric boys at work decided that they were extremely bored last Tuesday. They proceeded to cover my car with snow. Then just in case I couldn't locate it, they placed a large orange cone on top of the car. Very cute!!! This is what happens when you are extremely bored at work and do not have anything to do. The boys graciously dug my car out following their adventure with the snow.

Learning

I'm not very good at this blogging thing. I hope this is the right spot to let everyone know what is new in our life.

Charly has completed preschool. It was amazing at their graduation to watch how grown up she was. She said please and thank you. She even was able to sit still through the 30 minute program. It was unbelievable. She is now totally bored and anxious to begin kindergarten.

Justin has approx 6 weeks left of 2nd grade. He states he hates school but has really become an excellent reader this year. Math is his favorite subject. He is finishing baseball and unfortunately is not sure if he is going to play next year. I love baseball. He is anxiously awaiting football this fall.

Zach is just being Zach. He has finished this semester at SLCC. He is still without a girlfriend and it is driving him crazy. He is currently in Sun Valley with his dad for a fun weekend of golfing. I hope he is having a great time.

Randy has finished his first month as a salesman at Fleet-lite. I'm not sure how much he is really enjoying his job. Our house rules are not to discuss Fleet-lite. I appreciate the opportunity my father has given him.

Work remains busy. I have decided to go back to school for a bachelors degree in nursing. This will allow me to obtain my WOCN certification that is very important to me. I already feel stretched thin but hopefully this will only be short lived.

Is he really awake?

Zachary is our difficult child at this time in his life. He has become an adult and is still trying to find out where he fits. He is currently enrolled at SLCC and hope all is going well. He is currently single and enjoying it every other day. Maybe he will meet someone soon. He is currently working very part-time at Fleet-lite and is reffing for the county in Jr. Jazz. He constantly brings joy and excitement to our family. We love you Zach.

Angel or Monster?

Charly is 5 years old. She is currently attending preschool with great anticipation for Kindergarten in the fall. Charly is our active, bubbly, defiant, and enjoyable child. Whoever would have thought, when I finally got my little girl, she would have such a personality. She destroys every outfit she wears and refuses to allow us to do anything with her hair. She can beat up Justin without a second thought and quickly turn around to think he is the greatest big brother in the world. She is definitely our very own whirlwind. Our lives would be extremely boring without her in our family. We love you Charly.
